:: ประวัติย่อ :: เธอได้เป็นนางแบบโฆษณาสินค้า ตั้งแต่อายุเพียง 9 เดือน เมื่อตระหนักว่าเธอ ต้องการเก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์จากการแสดง เธอได้รับ บทบาททั้งในจอเงินและจอแก้วเด็กหญิงผู้มีความกระตือรือร้นสูงรู้ดีว่าเธอจำเป็นต้องมีประสบการณ์การแสดงมากกว่านี้ เธอจึงเริ่มหาบทในละครทีวีและจอเงิน
ในหนังเรื่องแรก เธอได้รับบทเป็นลูกสาวของ จอห์น เฮิร์ท และหนังเรื่องต่อไป ของเธอ คือ จุดเริ่มต้นของโลกบันเทิง เมื่อมนุษย์ต่างดาวตัวเล็กๆ ในหนังเรื่อง E.T. ได้ ทำลายสถิติทั้งหมด ที่เคยมีอยู่ของบ็อกซ์ออฟฟิศ ถึงจำนวนผู้ชมที่ต่อแถวกันยาวเหยียดรอดูหนังเรื่องนี้ในโรงหนัง หนูน้อยอายุ 7 ขวบ ก็ได้กลายเป็นดาราใหญ่ และ ดูเหมือนว่าเธอจะทำได้ดีอย่างน้อยก็ในหนังเรื่องต่อๆ มาของเธอไม่ว่าจะเป็น Irreconcilable Differences, Firestarter และ Cat’s Eye
แม้จะประสบความสำเร็จ ในหน้าที่ี่การงานแต่เธอกลับติดเหล้า และ ตามด้วยยาเสพย์ติดอีกหลายชนิด แม้มีอายุได้เพียง 9 ขวบ เมื่อดูในหนัง ดรูว์ ดูมีชีวิตชีวาแต่ชีวิตจริงของเธอกลับเละเทะ ทำไมจึงเกิดเรื่องแบบนี้ขึ้นกับคนที่มีอาชีพการงาน ที่มั่นคงตั้งแต่อายุได้ 4 ขวบ???
แต่เมื่อถึงจุดอิ่มตัว แบร์รี่มอร์ ซึ่งเริ่มเข้าสู่วัยรุ่นก็ได้ไปรับการรักษาที่คลินิกบำบัดผู้ติดยาเสพย์ติด และเริ่มฟื้นฟูสุขภาพ เธอได้เขียนหนังสือชีวประวัติส่วนตัว ชื่อว่า Little Girl Lost ออกมา เธอได้เริ่มงานแสดงของเธอใหม่โดยเล่นละครซีรี่ส์ รับบท ซึ่งแตกต่าง จากฮอลลีวูดอย่างสิ้นเชิง แม้ว่าเด็กสาวจะประสบความสำเร็จเรื่องเลิกยาแต่ชีวิตของเธอก็ใช่ว่า จะราบเรียบ น่าเบื่อหน่าย เธอถ่ายรูปนู้ด ในนิตยสารหลายๆเล่ม รวมถึง Late Night with David Letterman และ Playboy มีข่าวลือ ว่าพ่อทูนหัวของเธอซึ่งเป็นผู้กำกับที่โด่งดัง ได้ส่งผ้าห่มไปให้เธอ พร้อมกับข้อความ “เอาไปห่มซะ”
นอกจากนี้การได้เล่นหนังเขย่าขวัญ ซึ่งขณะนี้ มีคนทำออกมาเยอะเหลือเกิน ซึ่งก็คือ Scream ทำให้ แบรี่มอร์ มีชื่อเสียงโด่งดังขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง เธอรับบทหญิงสาวผู้ซึ่งอาจจะตกเป็นเหยื่อของผู้คนที่อยู่รอบข้างเธอ นอกจากหนังเรื่องอื่นๆ ที่เธอเล่นไม่ว่าจะเป็น Everyone Says I Love You ของ วู้ดดี อัลเลน หรือ Ever After และ The Wedding Singer แบร์รี่มอร์ ได้รับการยืนยันความสำเร็จ โดยหนังเรื่อง Charlie’s Angels ซึ่งเธอเป็นผู้แสดง และ ผู้อำนวยการสร้าง ด้วย ชีวิตทางสังคมของเธอมั่นคง แต่ยัง ค่อนข้างจะประหลาด เนื่องจากขณะนี้เธอกำลังติด ทอม กรีน แจ เป็นคู่รักฮอลีวูดที่เหมาะสมกันยังกับกิ่งทอง ใบหยก ทีเดียว
